Anaea lemnos ♂ (Linnaeus, 1758) is a Neotropical leaf-wing butterfly of the family Nymphalidae, subfamily Charaxinae. Distributed mainly in Peru, Bolivia and Brazil, it inhabits lowland to sub-montane tropical forests. Males exhibit strong, rapid flight and show the characteristic leaf-mimicking ventral wing surface typical of Charaxinae.
